Who should you listen to if you want to play the reed flute / ney well?

Şenol Filiz

That’s my all list. Some of Tanburi Cemil’s, Niyazi Sayın’s or Necdet Yaşar’s records sound noisy and scratchy because they are very old. Nevertheless, they are good records to listen if you want to improve your talents. Sadreddin Özçimi’s clean records also benefited me greatly. I especially like “Perde Kaldrma (rising in the notes).” This composition should be listened to and memorized in order to perform successfully.
